Stephanie and I had a really delicious crepe dinner and went to sleep after midnight. She slept for about an hour and then as agreed, woke me when the contractions got strong enough that she wanted company at 3:45 am.
Since then, we've been hanging out watching Roxanne and doing slow breathing and rocking through the contractions, which have so far been a bit more frequent than every 5 minutes, but are just now getting to be 1 minute in length with regularity. I think we'll call the doula soon.
Stephanie is doing a really great job and so far everything is going very smoothly. I think we'll definitely have this baby soon! Hurray, babycake!!
