So Ephiny, bless her soul, when I was like, "Hey, do you want to listen to the Rupert Bear theme?" proceeded to listen (kindly refraining from hitting me for introducing such an earworm) and then midway through said, "Wait a minute. Why is it in English?"
(Worth it for the awesome dance moves, even if you'll have the ueber-catchy theme stuck in your head for about a week afterwards. Others of the myriad verisons of Rupert TV shows have been much less successful in making a theme for the opening credits that just cannot be pried from your head.)
"Because Rupert Bear is, um, a quintessentially British icon?"
Turns out that Ephiny's first exposure to Rupert Bear was the care package with a Rupert Bär teddy and a book based on the TV show, translated into German.
Either way, poor RJ is not going to escape being put into some yellow plaid pants and a yellow scarf and a red sweater for Halloween some year before he starts having opinions (which will realistically be next year and only next year).

Also a top contender is this fabulous fighter pilot trompe l'oeil pajama ensemble that we got at OLD NAVY:

All we need is to slap on the Babiator sunglasses we already have, and voila, perfect Iceman outfit.
We're not as cool as these parents, whose Top Gun outfits for their twins, complete with fighter plane, totally takes the cake:
